Embodiments of the present invention provide a computer-implemented method of determining characteristics ofenzyme catalysis, comprising receiving, from a surface plasmon resonance (SPR) instrument, SPR data indicative of binding of anenzyme and a substrate, and determining one or more characteristics of the enzyme catalysis based on a multi-centre particle density (MPD) model and the SPR data.

Des modes de réalisation de la présente invention portent sur un procédé mis en œuvre par ordinateur permettant de déterminer des caractéristiques d'une catalyse enzymatique, consistant à recevoir, à partir d'un instrument de résonance plasmonique de surface (SPR), des données de SPR indiquant la liaison d'une enzyme et d'un substrat, et à déterminer une ou plusieurs caractéristiques de la catalyse enzymatique sur la base d'un modèle de densité de particules multicentre (MPD) et des données de SPR.
