Title: TRANSMISSION APPARATUS FOR ULTRA-NARROW BAND SPECTRUM SEGMENTATION INCOHERENT LIGHT SOURCE BASED ON FFP FILTER AND FFP-SOA IN WDM-PON
Abstract:
Disclosed is a transmission apparatus for an ultra-narrow band spectrum segmentation incoherent light source based on an FFP filter and an FFP-SOA in a WDM-PON, comprising a central station, a transmission optical fibre, a remote node and an optical network terminal. The remote node is connected to the central station by means of the transmission optical fibre; the optical network terminal is connected to the remote node; the central station comprises a broad-band incoherent light source, an FFP filter, an FFP-SOA, a first stage array wave guide grating, a plurality of optical modulators and a second stage array wave guide grating which are connected in sequence. Two ends of the plurality of optical modulators are respectively connected to the first stage array wave guide grating and the second stage array wave guide grating. An ultra-narrow band spectrum segmentation incoherent light source amplified by an FFP-SOA can realize the compression of intensity noise of a multichannel spectrum splicing incoherent light source, so that the effect of chromatic dispersion is effectively suppressed. The present invention is applicable to a long-distance dense wavelength division multiplexing passive optical network (DWDM-PON) communication system.
