(EN) There is disclosed a method of quantifying tremor of a subject; attaching at least one sensor on each of the two adjacent segments on the subject body; acquiring data from the sensors; whereby the multiplanar relative movements of the two adjacent hand- arm segments are captured; computing the multiplanar relative motions of the two adjacent segments to obtain a joint angle in each motion; subjecting the joint angle to a filtering process to obtain a joint angular displacement; and quantifying the tremor motion of the multiplanar relative movements of two adjacent segments using the joint angular displacement.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé de quantification de tremblements d'un sujet comportant : la fixation d'au moins un capteur sur chacun des deux segments adjacents sur le corps du sujet ; l'acquisition de données à partir des capteurs ; les mouvements relatifs multiplans des deux segments bras-main adjacents étant capturés ; le calcul des mouvements relatifs multiplans des deux segments adjacents pour obtenir un angle d'articulation dans chaque mouvement ; la soumission de l'angle d'articulation à un processus de filtration afin d'obtenir un déplacement angulaire d'articulation ; et la quantification du mouvement de tremblement des mouvements relatifs multiplans de deux segments adjacents à l'aide du déplacement angulaire de l'articulation.
