Abstract:
(EN) A device for assessing sunscreen coverage on a person includes a casing a lens assembly extending from about a front facing surface of the casing and allowing transmissivity to light energy in a wavelength range of about 300 to about 400 nm. A filter is in optical communication with the lens assembly and having a high optical density above about 390 nm and a low optical density below about 390 nm. A sensor is in optical communication with the filter, the sensor having a signal/noise ratio that is greater than about 36 db. A controller is configured for receiving input from a user to control the device. A display screen may be in communication with a controller for displaying an image associated with the filtered light.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un dispositif pour évaluer la couverture d'un écran solaire sur une personne. Ledit dispositif comprend un boîtier, un ensemble lentille qui s'étend à partir d'autour d'une surface tournée vers l'avant du boîtier et qui permet une transmissivité à l'énergie lumineuse dans une plage de longueurs d'onde d'environ 300 à environ 400 nm. Un filtre est en communication optique avec l'ensemble lentille et présente une densité optique élevée supérieure à environ 390 nm et une densité optique faible inférieure à environ 390 nm. Un capteur est en communication optique avec le filtre, le capteur possédant un rapport signal/bruit supérieur à environ 36 db. Un dispositif de commande est conçu pour recevoir une entrée d'un utilisateur pour commander le dispositif. Un écran d'affichage peut être en communication avec un dispositif de commande pour afficher une image associée à la lumière filtrée.
