Abstract:
The present invention relates to a mobile robot and a control method therefor, and the mobile robot: cleans while moving on the basis of a map; can determine, on the basis of a global localization function of the mobile robot, a current location on the map at any location of the mobile robot, thereby enabling the current location on the map to be accurately identified; recognizes again the robot's location even if the location of the mobile robot is randomly changed, such that the mobile robot can accurately move itself to a designated area; and carries out designated cleaning so as to enable effective cleaning with quick and precise movements.
