An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a touchscreen display, a pressure sensor positioned to sense external pressure against the display, a fingerprint sensor positioned to detect a fingerprint on at least a portion of the display, a processor electrically coupled to the display, the pressure sensor, and the fingerprint sensor, and a memory electrically coupled to the processor, in which the memory stores at least one registered fingerprint. The processor is configured to sense pressure of a user's finger against the display using the pressure sensor, upon sensing of the pressure, activate the fingerprint sensor, detect a fingerprint of the finger using the fingerprint sensor, determine whether the detected fingerprint is matched with any of the at least one registered fingerprint, and perform a preselected function without further requiring authentication, when the detected fingerprint is matched with any of the at least one registered fingerprint.

L'invention concerne un dispositif électronique. Ce dispositif électronique comprend un affichage à écran tactile, un capteur de pression disposé de sorte à détecter une pression externe exercée sur l'affichage, un capteur d'empreinte digitale disposé de sorte à détecter une empreinte digitale sur au moins une partie de l'affichage, un processeur couplé électriquement à l'affichage, au capteur de pression et au capteur d'empreinte digitale, ainsi qu'une mémoire couplée électriquement au processeur, dans lequel elle stocke au moins une empreinte digitale enregistrée. Le processeur est confguré pour : détecter la pression du doigt d'un utilisateur exercée sur l'affichage, au moyen du capteur de pression ; activer, lors de la détection de pression, le capteur d'empreinte digitale ; détecter une empreinte du doigt au moyen du capteur d'empreinte digitale ; déterminer si l'empreinte digitale détectée est mise en correspondance avec ladite empreinte digitale enregistrée au moins ; et effectuer une fonction présélectionnée, sans qu'une authentification supplémentaire soit nécessaire, lorsque l'empreinte digitale détectée est mise en correspondance avec ladite empreinte digitale enregistrée au moins.
