Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for producing skeletal muscle cells from pluripotent stem cells. More specifically, the present invention relates to: a method for culturing pluripotent stem cells in a culture medium that includes a GSK3β inhibitor, a culture medium that includes an ALK inhibitor, and a culture medium that includes a cAMP inducer to induce differentiation into skeletal muscle precursor cells; a method for culturing the obtained skeletal muscle precursor cells in a culture medium that includes a growth factor and/or culture medium that does not include a growth factor and inducing differentiation into skeletal muscle cells; and a frozen cell preparation that includes the obtained skeletal muscle precursor cells.
