Title: BATTERY PACKAGING MATERIAL AND BATTERY
Abstract:
Provided is a battery packaging material that can effectively suppress unsealing of a battery even when the battery is subjected to high temperature. The battery packaging material comprises a laminate provided with at least a base material layer, a barrier layer, an adhesion layer, and a thermally fusible resin layer in this order, the battery packaging material being characterized in that: when the thermally fusible resin layers are thermally fused to each other while facing each other so as to seal water in the battery packaging material and when the temperature is increased to an unsealing test temperature TºC that is 100ºC or higher in a vacuum, the sealed battery packaging material is not unsealed for at least 10 minutes while the temperature is kept at TºC after the temperature has reached the unsealing test temperature TºC; and the melting peak temperature of the adhesion layer is higher than the unsealing test temperature TºC by not less than 10ºC.
