Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a core/shell type quantum dot material with which photoluminescence quantum yield can be increased, and a method for manufacturing the same. The quantum dot material according to an embodiment of the present invention is a quantum dot material including a plurality of nanoscale core shell structures, each of the structures including: a nanocrystal core including phosphorus and indium; a shell disposed on the nanocrystal core and including zinc; and a modifying agent including at least one of chlorine and bromine, wherein the content of the chlorine and/or the bromine is 2 to 15 mass% of the quantum dot material.
