The purpose of the present invention is to provide a positive electrode capable of improving the rate characteristic. A positive electrode (106) of the present invention is constituted by a plurality of mutually bonded primary particles (20) that are each constituted by a lithium composite oxide having a layered rock-salt structure. The average orientation angle of the primary particles (20) relative to the plate face direction parallel to the plate face is greater than 0º but does not exceed 30º. In a cross-section of the positive electrode (106), the total area of primary particles (20) having an aspect ratio of at least 4 is at least 70% of the total area of the primary particles (20).

L’objectif de la présente invention est de fournir une électrode positive permettant d’améliorer la caractéristique de taux. Une électrode positive (106) de la présente invention est constituée d'une pluralité de particules primaires mutuellement liées (20) qui sont chacune constituées d’un oxyde composite de lithium ayant une structure stratifiée de sel gemme. L'angle d'orientation moyen des particules primaires (20) par rapport à la direction de face de plaque parallèle à la face de la plaque est supérieur à 0° mais ne dépasse pas 30°. Dans une section transversale de l'électrode positive (106), la surface totale des particules primaires (20) ayant un facteur de forme d'au moins 4 est d'au moins 70 % de la surface totale des particules primaires (20).
