(EN)The present disclosure relates to a catalyst composition for conversion of sulphur trioxide to sulphur dioxide and oxygen comprising an active material selected from the group consisting of transitional metal oxide, mixed transitional metal oxide, and combinations thereof; and a support material selected from the group consisting of silica, titania, zirconia, carbides, and combinations thereof. The subject matter also relates to a process for the preparation of the catalyst composition for conversion of sulphur trioxide to sulphur dioxide and oxygen.
(FR)La présente invention décrit une composition catalyseur destinée à la conversion de trioxyde de soufre (5) en dioxyde de soufre et oxygène comprenant un matériau actif sélectionné dans le groupe constitué par un oxyde métallique de transition, un oxyde métallique de transition mixte, et combinaisons de ce derniers ; et un matériau formant support sélectionné dans le groupe constitué par la silice, le titane, l’oxyde de zirconium, des carbures, et combinaisons de ce derniers.
