Abstract:
(EN) A method of verifying a potential detection of a man overboard event recorded as a moving object in a plurality of sequential frames of image data in respect of a duration of a time window comprises receiving (900) ranging track data in respect of the time window. A geometric chord is then identified that intersects a start point and an end point of a path described by a ranging track of the ranging track data. A height of the start point and an angle defined by a convergence of the chord and a vertical are then determined (902, 906). The height and the angle are then compared relative to a boundary line in order to classify (910) the path described by the ranging track in relation to a man overboard event, thereby validating the potential detection.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un procédé de vérification d'une détection potentielle d'un événement d'homme à la mer enregistré comme étant un objet mobile dans une pluralité de trames séquentielles de données d'image en fonction d’une durée d'une fenêtre temporelle qui comprend la réception (900) de données de poursuite de télémétrie en fonction de la fenêtre temporelle. Une corde géométrique est ensuite identifiée, coupant un point initial et un point final d'un trajet décrit par une poursuite de télémétrie des données de poursuite de télémétrie. Une hauteur du point initial et un angle défini par une convergence de la corde et d'une verticale sont ensuite déterminés (902, 906). La hauteur et l'angle sont ensuite comparés par rapport à une ligne de délimitation afin de classer (910) le trajet décrit par la poursuite de télémétrie par rapport à un événement d'homme à la mer, de façon à valider la détection potentielle.
