Abstract

Top guide assembly (42) designed to be arranged in a fuel injector (10) and extending along the longitudinal axis (X), compressed between a nozzle body (16) and a control valve body (20), the top guide assembly (42) comprising a top guide member (56) having an upper cylindrical base comprising (60) comprising a cylindrical lateral face (64), a top flat face (66) designed to be compressed against the valve body (20), a bottom flat face (68) designed to be compressed against the nozzle body (16) and a longitudinal open-ended bore (58) designed to allow a needle (14) to slide. The injector (10) is designed in such a way that, in use, the nozzle body (16) is in electrical contact with electrical earth (M). The top guide assembly (42) is electrically insulated between the nozzle body (16) and the valve body (20).
