Abstract:
The present invention relates to a sensor for detecting an analyte in a fluid. The sensor (200) comprising: a fluidic channel (102) arranged to receive a flow of the fluid, a plasmonic sensor (202) which upon resonant excitation exhibits a localized surface plasmon resonance condition thereby forming a sensing volume (206) within the fluidic channel (102), wherein the plasmonic sensor (202) is partly arranged within the fluidic channel (102), a binding portion (208) arranged inside the sensing volume (206) for binding the analyte. A system for detecting an analyte in a fluid, the system comprising the sensor, and a method for detecting an analyte in a fluid are also presented.
