Abstract:
The invention relates to a system for actively short-circuiting phases (U, V, W) of an inverter (1), wherein the inverter (1) is provided with power semiconductor switches (5, 5A, 5B) for applying an electrical current at the phases (U, V, W), comprising a driver circuit (7) for actuating the power semiconductor switches (5, 5A, 5B), and comprising a protection circuit (9) which permits at least some of the power semiconductor switches (5, 5A, 5B) to be closed for actively short-circuiting the phases (U, V, W). In addition, the protection circuit (9) actuates the power semiconductor switches (5, 5A, 5B) for active short-circuiting in a direct manner, i.e. without detour via the driver circuit (7). The invention further relates to a motor vehicle drive comprising a system of this type.
