Abstract:
A structure for mounting a digital micromirror device (1), and an image display device. The structure comprises: a press plate (4) used to operate with a housing (7) to tightly hold the digital micromirror device (1); an elastic component (6); and a printed circuit board (3). The press plate (4) and the housing (7) form a rigid connection, and the press plate (4), the elastic component (6) and the print circuit board (3) are sequentially connected. In the structure for the mounting a digital micromirror device (1), since the press plate (4) and the housing (7) form the rigid connection, when being pressed tightly, the press plate (4) experiences a bending moment and produces a bending stress, resulting in deformation. Furthermore, since the elastic component (6) is located between the press plate (4) and the printed circuit board (3), the elastic component (6) can compensate, according to elasticity thereof, for the deformation of the press plate (4), thereby preventing the printed circuit board (3) from experiencing the bending moment, and subsequently, preventing the printed circuit board (3) from producing the bending stress, thereby preventing stability of the digital micromirror device (1) from being affected. Also, the embodiment can control, by means of the elastic component (6), a pressing force of the press plate (4) applying to the digital micromirror device (1), further controlling the stability of the digital micromirror device (1).
