Non-ideal diodes (232, 240) have a non-zero resistance across a PN junction when the junction is forward biased. When a diode having a power supply device (202) has a voltage drop across the junction that exceeds a predetermined threshold, the threshold-exceeding voltage drop triggers a comparator (222), the output (220) of which controls a switching device (204) between the power supply and a load (260).

Des diodes non idéales (232, 240) ont une résistance non nulle à travers une jonction PN lorsque la jonction est sollicitée vers l'avant. Lorsqu'une diode ayant un dispositif d'alimentation électrique (202) présente une chute de tension à travers la jonction qui dépasse un seuil prédéfini, la chute de tension dépassant le seuil déclenche un comparateur (222), dont la sortie (220) commande un dispositif de commutation (204) entre l'alimentation électrique et une charge (260).
