Abstract:
(EN) A composite pressure vessel assembly includes a first vessel having a first inner layer and a second vessel having a second inner layer. An outer layer of the assembly is in contact with and substantially envelopes the first and second inner layers. A junction of the assembly has outer boundaries defined by segments of the first inner layer, the second inner layer and the outer layer. A cross-layered component of the assembly is disposed in the junction, the first and second inner layers and the outer layer for adding strength to the junction and restricting delamination.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un ensemble de cuve sous pression composite qui comprend une première cuve comportant une première couche interne et une deuxième cuve comportant une deuxième couche interne. Une couche externe de l’ensemble est en contact avec, et enveloppe sensiblement les première et deuxième couches internes. Une jonction de l'ensemble comporte des limites externes définies par des segments de la première couche interne, la deuxième couche interne et la couche externe. Un composant à couches croisées de l'ensemble est disposé dans la jonction, les première et deuxième couches internes et la couche externe pour augmenter la résistance de la jonction et limiter le délaminage.
