A system for detecting an object includes a processor (6), a capacitive sensor (4) operatively linked to the processor (6), an RF reader (3), and an object (1) with an embedded RFID tag (8). The sensing electrode of the capacitive sensor (4) is made from a conductive paste. The RF reader (3) is placed below the capacitive sensor (4) and operatively linked to the processor (6). And the object (1) is placed above the capacitive sensor (4). The detection ranges of the capacitive sensor (4) and the RF reader (3) overlap in space. Once the object (1) enters the overlapped detection space, the capacitive sensor (4) detects the object (1) through capacitive coupling and the RF reader (3) detects the object (1) through reading the RFID tag (8). The use of conductive paste as touch electrode in the system not only substantially eliminates the bidirectional interference resulting from both capacitive sensing and RF identification, but also is convenient and sometimes cost effective.

La présente invention concerne un système destiné à la détection d'un objet, ledit système comprend : un processeur (6), un détecteur capacitif (4) relié de manière fonctionnelle au processeur (6), un lecteur RF (3), et un objet (1) doté d'une étiquette RFID intégrée (8). L'électrode de détection du détecteur capacitif (4) est constituée à partir d'une pâte conductrice. Le lecteur RF (3) est placé au-dessous du détecteur capacitif (4) et relié de manière fonctionnelle au processeur (6). Et l'objet (1) est placé au-dessus du détecteur capacitif (4). Les plages de détection du détecteur capacitif (4) et du lecteur RF (3) se chevauchent dans l'espace. Une fois que l'objet (1) entre dans l'espace de détection chevauché, le détecteur capacitif (4) détecte l'objet (1) à travers le couplage capacitif et le lecteur RF (3) détecte l'objet (1) à travers la lecture de l'étiquette RFID (8). L'utilisation de la pâte conductrice en tant qu'électrode tactile dans le système non seulement élimine sensiblement l'interférence bidirectionnelle résultant à la fois de la détection capacitive et de l'identification RF, mais est également pratique et parfois économique.
