Abstract:
(EN) Provided is a composition. The composition comprises a compound having the structure of Formula (1). The composition reduces the synthesis of melanin by inhibiting the activity and expression levels of tyrosinase and related proteins, thereby preventing and limiting the content and distribution of melanin in mammalian skin. It also induces autophagy of melanosome, thereby restricting the synthesis, storage and transfer of melanin from melanocyte to keratinocyte. The dual modes of action allow for the efficacy of the composition at low dosage without causing toxicity to lighten skin and treat disorders associated with hyperpigmentation.
(FR) Cette invention concerne une composition comprenant un composé ayant une structure de Formule 1. La composition réduit la synthèse de la mélanine par inhibition des niveaux d'activité et d'expression de la tyrosinase et autres protéines apparentées, empêchant ainsi et limitant la teneur et la distribution de la mélanine dans la peau d'un mammifère. La composition selon l'invention induit également l'autophagie du mélanosome, limitant ainsi la synthèse, le stockage et le transfert de la mélanine du mélanocyte au kératinocyte. Ces doubles modes d'action contribuent à l'efficacité de la composition à faible dose sans induire de toxicité pour éclaircir la peau et traiter les troubles associés à l'hyperpigmentation.
