(EN)The subject technology relates to a cell retention device and method for use in a perfusion cell culture system where the cell retention device includes a hollow-fiber filter having an average pore size ranging from about 0.5 to about 20 µm and having the ability to operate under perfusion cell culture conditions for up to 35 days without being clogged or losing its product sieving ability by more than 20%.
(FR)La présente invention décrit une technologie concernant un dispositif de rétention de cellules et un procédé destiné à une utilisation dans un système de culture de cellules sous perfusion où le dispositif de rétention de cellules comprend un filtre de fibre creuse ayant une taille moyenne de pore s'étendant d'environ 0,5 à environ 20 µm et ayant la capacité de fonctionner sous des conditions de culture de cellules sous perfusion jusqu'à 35 jours sans être colmaté ni perdre sa capacité de tamisage de produit de plus de 20 %.
