Abstract:

(EN)Systems, apparatuses, and methods are disclosed herein for controlling winding configurations of an electric machine. The apparatus includes an operation condition circuit structured to receive data indicative of an operating condition of an engine and an electric machine operatively connected to the engine, and a windings configuration circuit communicably coupled to the operation condition circuit. The windings configuration circuit is structured to selectively implementing a high torque windings mode configuration or a low torque windings mode configuration for the electric machine based at least in part on the operating condition.
