The present invention provides a vehicle control device and method capable of ensuring steering accuracy. In a vehicle provided with a left-right pair of steered wheels for which the braking/driving forces can each be controlled, and a steering force generation device that generates steering force for the steered wheels and controls the steering angle of the steered wheels, this vehicle control device and method control the steering force and the steering reaction force from the steering force generation device by controlling the braking/driving force of each of the steered wheels on the basis of the lateral force acting on the steered wheels.

La présente invention concerne un dispositif et un procédé de commande de véhicule aptes à assurer une précision de direction. Dans un véhicule comportant une paire gauche-droite de roues dirigées pour lesquelles les forces de freinage/d'entraînement peuvent chacune être commandées, et un dispositif de génération de force de direction qui génère une force de direction pour les roues dirigées et qui commande l'angle de direction des roues dirigées, ce dispositif et ce procédé de commande de véhicule commandent la force de direction et la force de réaction de direction venant du dispositif de génération de force de direction par la commande de la force de freinage/d'entraînement de chacune des roues dirigées sur la base de la force latérale agissant sur les roues dirigées.

本発明は、操舵の正確性を確保することのできる車両制御装置及び方法を提供する。本発明のできる車両制御装置及び方法は、制駆動力をそれぞれ制御可能な左右一対の操舵輪と、該操舵輪に対して操舵力を発生させて前記操舵輪の操舵角を制御する操舵力発生装置とを備える車両において、前記操舵輪に作用する横力に基づいて、前記制駆動力を前記操舵輪ごとに制御することによって、前記操舵力発生装置の操舵力または操舵反力を制御する。
