Abstract:
(EN) A device for continuously producing a poly(arylene sulfide) (hereinafter, referred to as PAS) and a process for continuous PAS production are provided with which resource saving, energy saving, and a reduction in equipment cost are rendered possible. The device for continuous PAS production according to the present invention includes a housing chamber which includes a plurality of reaction cells therein and to which at least an organic amide solvent, a sulfur source, and a dihaloaromatic compound are fed. In the reaction cells, the sulfur source is polymerized with the dihaloaromatic compound in the organic amide solvent to form a reaction mixture. The reaction cells communicate with each other through the gaseous phase within the chamber. The reaction cells have been consecutively connected, and the reaction mixture moves successively to subsequent reaction cells.
(FR) L'invention concerne un dispositif pour produire en continu un poly(sulfure d'arylène) (ci-après appelé PAS) et un procédé pour la production continue de PAS, permettant une économie de ressources, une économie d'énergie et une réduction du coût de l'équipement. Le dispositif pour la production continue de PAS selon la présente invention comprend une chambre de logement qui comprend une pluralité de cellules de réaction en son sein et qui est alimentée en au moins un solvant organique de type amide, une source de soufre et un composé dihalogénoaromatique. Dans les cellules de réaction, la source de soufre est polymérisée avec le composé dihalogénoaromatique dans le solvant organique de type amide pour former un mélange réactionnel. Les cellules de réaction communiquent entre elles via la phase gazeuse à l'intérieur de la chambre. Les cellules de réaction ont été reliées de manière consécutive et le mélange réactionnel se déplace successivement vers les cellules de réaction ultérieures.
