Abstract

The present disclosure provides a composite material comprising a blend of components comprising (a) phosphogypsum; (b) bitumen; and (c) particulate matter; the amount of said phosphogypsum is at least 10 %w/w out of the total weight of said composite material. Also provided herein is a method of producing the composite material, by at least mixing phosphogypsum and particulate matter at a temperature above 50°C, said mixing is for a time sufficient to receive an essentially dry particulate mixture, the amount of said phosphogypsum is such to obtain a composite material having at least 10% w/w out of the total dry weight of said composite material; and introducing while mixing, into the essentially dry particulate mixture molten bitumen to obtain said composite material. Articles of manufacture comprising the composite material are also disclosed.

La présente invention concerne un matériau composite comprenant un mélange de constituants comprenant (a) du phosphogypse ; (b) du bitume ; et (c) une matière particulaire ; la quantité dudit phosphogypse étant d'au moins 10 % en poids du poids total dudit matériau composite. L'invention concerne également un procédé de production du matériau composite, consistant au moins à mélanger le phosphogypse et la matière particulaire à une température supérieure à 50°C, ledit mélange étant réalisé pendant une durée suffisante pour obtenir un mélange particulaire sensiblement sec, la quantité dudit phosphogypse est telle qu'elle permet d'obtenir un matériau composite présentant au moins 10 % en poids du poids sec total dudit matériau composite ; et à introduire, pendant le mélange, dans le mélange particulaire sensiblement sec, du bitume fondu pour obtenir ledit matériau composite. L'invention concerne également des objets fabriqués comprenant le matériau composite.
