The invention relates to a method comprising the steps of: compressing the air, injecting same directly into the combustion chamber at specific positions in the operating cycle of the engine, monitoring temperature and pressure variables inside the combustion chamber and performing actions and corrective actions so as to maintain the pre-established operation in the system for the process, characterised in that the compressed air circuit is independent of the intake system of said engines and is controlled by means of an engine control unit (ECU). The invention also relates to equipment for carrying out the aforementioned method, comprising: compressed air means including a compressor (turbo-electric), a pressure accumulator tank, a pressure regulator, pneumatic and electrical connections, and an injector device; a device to be housed in the port originally provided for the diesel fuel injector in the case of diesel engines or for the spark plug in the case of petrol engines, which contain the air injector, the element containing the sensors and, in the case of a petrol engine, a fuel injector, as well as the air injector and the spark plug; and control means in an engine control unit (ECU) interconnecting the above-mentioned pneumatic, electrical and mechanical components.

Procedimiento que comprende las etapas de: compresión del aire, inyección del mismo de forma directa a la cámara de combustión en posiciones específicas del ciclo de funcionamiento del motor, monitoreo de variables de temperatura y presión dentro de la cámara de combustión y ejecución de acciones y correctivos para mantener el funcionamiento preestablecido en el sistema para dicho proceso, caracterizado por que el circuito de aire comprimido es independiente del sistema de admisión de dichos motores y es gobernado a través de una Unidad de Control de Motor (ECU). Aparato para la realización del procedimiento anterior que comprende: medios propios de aire comprimido que incluye un compresor (turbo eléctrico), un tanque acumulador de presión, un regulador de presión, conexiones neumáticas y eléctricas y finalmente un dispositivo inyector; un artefacto para ser ubicado en el orificio dispuesto originalmente para el inyector de combustible Diésel, para el caso de motores Diésel o dispuesto para la bujía para el caso de motores a gasolina, los cuales contienen el inyector de aire, el dispositivo contenedor de los sensores y en el caso de motor a gasolina un inyector de combustible, además del inyector de aire y la bujía; medios propios de control en una Unidad de Control de Motor (UCE) que interconecta los componentes neumáticos, eléctricos, y mecánicos arriba descritos, los cuales controlan el sistema.

Le procédé comprend les étapes de: compression de l'air, injection de celui-ci de manière directe dans la chambre de combustion dans des positions spécifiques du cycle de fonctionnement du moteur, commande de variables de température et de pression dans la chambre de combustion et exécution d'actions et de correctifs pour maintenir le fonctionnement préétabli dans le système pour ce procédé, caractérisé en ce que le circuit de l'air comprimé est indépendant du système d'admission de ces moteurs et est commandé à travers une unité de commande du moteur (ECU). Un appareil pour réaliser le procédé antérieur qui comprend: des moyens propres d'air comprimé qui comporte un compresseur (turbo électrique), un réservoir accumulateur de pression, un régulateur de pression, des connexions pneumatiques et électriques et enfin un dispositif injecteur; un appareil destiné à être placé dans l'orifice prévu à l'origine pour l'injecteur de carburant diesel, dans le cas de moteur diesel ou pour la bougie dans le cas de moteur à essence, lesquels contiennent l'injecteur d'air, le dispositif conteneur de capteurs et dans le cas de moteur à essence un injecteur de carburant, outre l'injecteur d'air et la bougie; des moyens de commande propres dans une unité de commande de moteur (UCE) qui interconnectent les composants pneumatiques, électriques, et mécaniques décrits ci-dessus, lesquels commandent le système.
