Disclosed in the present invention is a control method, for use in controlling an electronic device. The electronic device comprises an imaging device and a motion sensor. The motion sensor is used for sensing a jitter amplitude of the imaging device in an imaging process. Firstly, an imaging period is determined; secondly, a candidate image is obtained and is stored into a buffer; then, a jitter amplitude of the candidate image is set as a reference jitter amplitude; then the imaging device is controlled to carry out imaging in the imaging period so as to obtain an exposure image; then whether a jitter amplitude corresponding to the exposure image is less than the reference jitter amplitude is determined; if yes, the exposure image is stored into the buffer and is used as a new candidate image, the jitter amplitude of the exposure image is set as the reference jitter amplitude, and then the control step is returned to; and finally, after the imaging period is ended, the candidate image is used as a final image. Accordingly, screening is carried out while the exposure image is shot, so that shooting and processing time is saved and it is easy to find out the exposure image having a high definition.
