Abstract:
Provided are a quick liquid crystal display apparatus and a method for manufacturing same. The liquid crystal display apparatus is provided with a field sequential backlight module for color display, and a color filter in a conventional liquid crystal display panel is removed; therefore, high light transmittance and high color purity are achieved. A polymer liquid crystal layer (28) is provided in a liquid crystal display panel (2), and comprises a polymer network (281) formed of polymerizable monomers by means of a polymerization reaction and liquid crystals (282) which are anchored by the polymer network (281), the liquid crystals (282) being bent in a power-on state and being vertical in a power-off state. A "machine heating" process in an existing OCB mode is omitted, and thus the response speed is significantly increased.
