Abstract

An array substrate (10) and a liquid crystal display panel (1). An array substrate (10) comprising a plurality of gate line units (110) and a plurality of data signal and common signal multiplexing lines (120). Each gate line unit (110) comprises first and second gate lines (111, 112). Two adjacent data signal and common signal multiplexing lines (120) and one gate line unit (110) form a pixel region in which first and second switch units (T1, T2), a common electrode (130), and a pixel electrode (140) are provided. The first switch unit (T1) comprises a first gate (G1), a first source (S1), and a first drain (D1); the second switch unit (T2) comprises a second gate (G2), a second source (S2), and a second drain (D2). The first gate (G1) is electrically connected to the first gate line (111); the second gate (G2) is electrically connected to the second gate line (112); the first and second sources (S1, S2) are electrically connected to the same data signal and common signal multiplexing line (120); the first drain (D1) is electrically connected to the common electrode (130); the second drain (D2) is electrically connected to the pixel electrode (140); the data signal and common signal multiplexing line (120) is used for receiving a data and common multiplexed signal (Com/Data) which works in concert with first and second gate signals (G-1, G-2, G-3, G-4) to control not to switch on the first and second switch units (S1, S2) at the same time.
