Abstract:
Disclosed is an air fryer using air as a cooking medium. The air fryer comprises a pot cover (1), a pot body (2), a frying basket (3), an external pot (4), a heating element (5) and a fan (6). The heating element (5) and the fan (6) are arranged in the centre of the bottom of the pot body (2), with a hot air outlet (8) above the heating element (5) and a cold air inlet (9) below the fan (6). The centre of the external pot (4) protrudes upward to form a hollow ventilation post (10), the ventilation post (10) is in communication with the hot air outlet (8), an elevated base of the external pot (4) is arranged inside the pot body (2), and the side wall of the external pot (4) is separated from the inner wall of the pot body (2). The centre of the bottom surface of the frying basket (3) is provided with a positioning hole (11), the ventilation post (10) extends upward to pass through the positioning hole (11) so that a base of the frying basket (3) is arranged inside an inner chamber of the external pot (4), the bottom surface of the frying basket (3) is provided with an oil leaking hole, and the outer surface of the frying basket (3) is separated from the inner surface of the external pot (4). The air fryer has a simple and reasonable structure. By moving the heating element (5) and the fan (6) to the bottom of the pot body (2), hot air can only flow downward inside the frying basket (3) to turn over the food, and then the heat flows out from the oil weeping hole in the bottom surface of the frying basket (3), so that the air fryer can heat the food uniformly, has a short heating time, is energy saving, and is hygienic because the pot body (2) can be easily cleaned. With an air inlet channel and an air outlet channel being independent of each other, the air flows smoothly.
