(EN) The invention relates to a laser scanner (10) for scanning a ground (2) from a sea- or airborne vehicle (1), comprising a scanning unit (11) for emitting a fan-shaped scanning beam (6) of laser beams (4) distributed about a scanning axis (5), and receiving the laser beams (4) reflected from the ground (2), and comprising an evaluation unit (12) connected to the scanning unit (11) for evaluating the received laser beams (4), characterised by a measuring unit (16; 11; 13, 25, 27; 13, 15, 27) designed to measure the height (a) of the vehicle (1) above the ground (2), and comprising an adjustment device (19) that can be anchored to the vehicle (1) and is connected to the measuring unit (16; 11; 13, 25, 27; 13, 15, 27), wherein the adjustment device (19) is designed to turn the fan-shaped scanning beam (6) of the scanning unit (11) in relation to the vehicle (1), about a first adjustment axis (22) that is different from the scanning axis (5), and in accordance with the measured height (a) above the ground (2).
