Abstract:
(EN) An extended depth-of field microscope includes (a) a microdisplay having an array of emitters capable of illuminating a sample with structured illumination, (b) an image sensor for capturing an image of the sample, and a microscope objective configured to direct the structured illumination toward the sample and direct light from the sample toward the image sensor, wherein the microscope objective has tunable focal length and is object-space telecentric such that tuning of the focal length does not substantially affect magnification of either one of the image formed on the image sensor and the structured illumination projected into object space.
(FR) L'invention concerne un microscope à profondeur de champ étendue comprenant (a) un micro-affichage comportant un réseau d'émetteurs capables d'éclairer un échantillon à l'aide d'un éclairage structuré, (b) un capteur d'image pour capturer une image de l'échantillon, et un objectif de microscope conçu pour diriger l'éclairage structuré en direction de l'échantillon et pour diriger la lumière provenant l'échantillon en direction du capteur d'image, l'objectif du microscope ayant une distance focale accordable et étant de type télécentrique dans l'espace objet de façon que l'ajustement de la distance focale n'affecte sensiblement ni le grossissement de l'image formée sur le capteur d'image, ni l'éclairage structuré projeté dans l'espace objet.
