Abstract:
(EN) A system (200) for controlling road traffic comprises measurement station (210) for determining air pollution in an urban area comprising pollution zones (221 - 223) with predetermined geographical boundaries. A central system is configured to charge a pollution fee to a vehicle (10) moving in the pollution zone when the air pollution exceeds a threshold value. Different vehicles are charged different fees, e.g. based on their function and emission. A variable message sign (240) warns of the increased fees, so most private cars choose alternative routes (232, 233) around the pollution zone (222, 223), but allow motorists willing to pay a substantial pollution fee to use route (231). Heavy diesel vehicles may be exempt from pollution fees along a direct route (231) through the pollution zone to keep them away from small roads and residential areas. A method using mobile devices for registering passengers for a passenger discount is also described.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un système (200) pour contrôler le trafic routier qui comprend un poste de mesure (210) pour déterminer la pollution de l'air dans une zone urbaine comprenant des zones de pollution (221 - 223) ayant des limites géographiques prédéterminées. Un système central est configuré pour facturer une taxe de pollution à un véhicule (10) se déplaçant dans la zone de pollution lorsque la pollution de l'air dépasse une valeur de seuil. Des taxes différentes sont facturées à différents véhicules, par exemple sur la base de leur fonction et de leur émission. Un signe de message variable (240) signale les taxes supplémentaires, de sorte que la plupart des voitures privées choisissent des itinéraires alternatifs (232, 233) autour de la zone de pollution (222, 223), mais permettent aux automobilistes de payer une taxe de pollution substantielle pour utiliser l'itinéraire (231). Les véhicules au diesel lourd peuvent être exempts de taxes de pollution le long d'un itinéraire direct (231) traversant la zone de pollution afin de les maintenir à distance des petites routes et des zones résidentielles. L'invention concerne en outre un procédé utilisant des dispositifs mobiles pour enregistrer des passagers pour une remise de passager.
