Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a depolarization film which can exhibit an excellent depolarization function even if an image display device is observed from any direction with polarization sunglasses worn and which has a low haze value; and a manufacturing method through which this depolarization film can be conveniently manufactured and a large-sized film can be manufactured with high productivity. In addition, the purpose of the present invention is to provide an image display device which has an excellent depolarization function and has low image quality degradation in comparison to an original image. The polarization film is characterized in that a liquid crystal polymer having a specific structure is phase-separated and dispersed in a light-transmissive resin, and the image display device has this depolarization film disposed between an observer's side and a polarization plate at the observer's side.
