Title: METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING MULTIJUNCTION PHOTOELECTRIC CONVERSION DEVICE
Abstract:
A multijunction photoelectric conversion device is provided with, in this order: a first electrode (51); a first photoelectric conversion unit (10) including a thin-film first semiconductor layer; and a second photoelectric conversion unit (20) including a second semiconductor layer and connected in series with the first photoelectric conversion unit. A manufacturing method according to the present invention comprises: a step of providing the first electrode (51) patterned in a plurality of regions separated by a separation groove (59) on the first photoelectric conversion unit; and a step of applying a reverse bias voltage between one region of the first electrode and the second photoelectric conversion unit (20) to remove a leak existing in the first semiconductor layer. Application of the reverse bias voltage is implemented in a state in which light is irradiated preferentially onto the second photoelectric conversion unit (20) such that a greater photocurrent is generated in the second photoelectric conversion unit (20) than in the first photoelectric conversion unit (10).
