(EN) The present invention relates to a distance measuring system. The distance measuring system comprises a distance measuring sensor, a memory unit and a processing unit. The distance measuring sensor is adapted and arranged to measure viewing distances between a subject's eyes and one or more objects. The memory unit is adapted to store the measured viewing distances in a set of measured viewing distances. The processing unit is adapted to determine a statistical distribution of the measured viewing distances from the set of measured distances.
