Abstract:
(EN) According to one aspect, the invention relates to a measurement bench (1) for measuring the magnetic field of portions (101) of a sediment core (100) extending in a main direction, characterised in that the measurement bench (1) comprises at least: a device for translating the sediment core (100) within the measurement bench (1); a measurement chamber (30) comprising a probe with flux valve (40) arranged to be provided opposite a portion (101) of the sediment core (100) so as to measure the magnetic field of said portion (101) of the sediment core (100) located opposite the probe with flux valve (40); and the movement device is configured to translate the sediment core relative to the probe with flux valve so that the probe with flux valve captures in series the magnetic field of a succession of portions of the sediment core. The invention likewise relates to a method and an apparatus for estimating the remanent magnetism of portions of a sediment sample.
(FR) Selon un aspect l'invention porte sur un banc de mesure (1) du champ magnétique de portions (101) d'une carotte sédimentaire (100) s'étendant selon une direction principale, caractérisé en ce que le banc de mesure (1) comprend au moins: - un dispositif de déplacement en translation de la carotte sédimentaire (100) au sein du banc de mesure (1), - une chambre de mesure (30) comprenant une sonde à vanne de flux (40) agencée pour être disposée en regard d'une portion (101) de carotte sédimentaire (100) de manière mesurer le champ magnétique de ladite portion (101) de carotte sédimentaire (100) située en regard de la sonde à vanne de flux (40); et ce que le dispositif de déplacement est configuré de manière à faire translater la carotte sédimentaire par rapport à la sonde à vanne de flux de manière à ce que la sonde à vanne de flux capte successivement le champ magnétique d'une succession de portions de la carotte sédimentaire. L'invention porte également sur un procédé et un appareil d'estimation des aimantations rémanentes de portions d'un échantillon sédimentaire.
