Abstract:
(EN) Various embodiments are described wherein a set of devices are configured to be a logical mesh network. Each device has a logical mesh network address. Further, the set of logical mesh network addresses form a sequence from a first address to a last address, and intermediate addresses having both a preceding and a next address. The devices store forwarding information used to determine how to forward a received logical mesh network packet. Other embodiments are described and claimed.
(FR) Divers modes de réalisation de l’invention concernent un ensemble de dispositifs configurés pour former un réseau maillé logique. Chaque dispositif possède une adresse de réseau maillé logique. L'ensemble d'adresses de réseau maillé logique forme une séquence d'une première adresse à une dernière adresse, les adresses intermédiaires ayant une adresse précédente et une adresse suivante. Les dispositifs stockent des informations de transfert utilisées pour déterminer comment transférer un paquet de réseau maillé logique reçu. L'invention concerne également d'autres modes de réalisation.
