Abstract:
(EN) A method of charging a battery of a computing device includes determining an amount of charge remaining in a battery coupled to the computing device. The method further includes, in response to a determination that the amount of charge remaining in the battery has decreased more than a first predetermined percentage since connection to a power source during a first predetermined amount of time, adjusting a power state of at least one power consuming circuit of the computing device other than the battery.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé de charge d'une batterie d'un dispositif informatique, comprenant la détermination d'une quantité de charge restante dans une batterie connectée au dispositif informatique. Le procédé comprend en outre, en réponse à une détermination selon laquelle la quantité de charge restante dans la batterie a diminué de plus d'un premier pourcentage prédéterminé depuis la connexion à une source d'alimentation pendant une première durée prédéterminée, l'ajustement d'un état de puissance d'au moins un circuit consommateur d'énergie du dispositif informatique autre que la batterie.
