Abstract

A packer actuation system for a blowout preventer, comprising: a packer arrangement (100) having an axial passage therethrough (211); an actuation system which is releasably mechanically connected to the packer arrangement (100); wherein the actuation system is operable to move the packer arrangement (100) from an expanded position to a contracted position such that a dimension of the axial passage decreases, and the actuation system is operable to move the packer arrangement (100)from the contracted position to the expanded position such that the dimension of the axial passage increases.

L'invention concerne un système d'actionnement de garniture d'étanchéité pour un obturateur anti-éruption, comprenant : un agencement de garniture d'étanchéité (100) ayant un passage axial dans celui-ci (211) ; un système d'actionnement qui est relié mécaniquement de manière amovible à l'agencement de garniture d'étanchéité (100) ; le système d'actionnement servant à déplacer l'agencement de garniture d'étanchéité (100) d'une position étendue à une position contractée de telle sorte qu'une dimension du passage axial diminue, et le système d'actionnement servant à déplacer l'agencement de garniture d'étanchéité (100) de la position contractée à la position déployée de telle sorte que la dimension du passage axial augmente.
