Title: PTC UNIT FOR VEHICLE HEATER, PTC HEATER INCLUDING SAME, AND AIR CONDITIONING DEVICE FOR VEHICLE
Abstract:
Provided is a positive temperature coefficient (PTC) unit for a vehicle heater. The PTC unit according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a heating part including a PTC element; and a heat dissipation part disposed on at least one surface of the heating part and including a heat dissipation base material and a heat dissipation film disposed on at least a portion of an outer surface of the heat dissipation base material to improve heat dissipation performance. According to the present invention, the PTC unit may exhibit the improved heat dissipation performance without structural modifications for reducing air permeability and increasing the specific surface area of the heat dissipation part to improve the heat dissipation performance and simultaneously, continuously exhibit the heat dissipation performance by virtue of excellent durability for the heat dissipation performance. Also, as the air permeability of the heat dissipation part improves, noise and increase in power consumption due to the overuse of a peripheral device such as a fan may be prevented. Furthermore, overheating of the PTC module and overloading of a control circuit of the PTC module due to a reduction in the air permeability of the heat dissipation part may be prevented, so as not to require a high cost and high performance control circuit, thereby the PTC heater for vehicle at a reduced production cost may be realized.
