Provided is a method capable of using a conventional HD or full-HD set-top box, of which UHD broadcast processing is impossible, by connecting the set-top box to a UHD TV, and displaying a translucent menu screen image. The method according to the present invention comprises: an image reception step of receiving an OSD image and transparency information from an HD set-top box through a first HDMI interface and receiving a TV image of a UHD resolution through an Ethernet interface; a transparency application step of capturing the OSD image so as to generate a capture screen image, and generating a color key screen image in which the transparency information has been applied to the capture screen image; a menu combining step of combining the color key screen image with the TV image; and an output step of outputting, to the UHD TV through a second HDMI interface, the combined image.

L'invention concerne un procédé permettant d'utiliser un boîtier décodeur haute définition (HD) ou haute définition intégrale (full-HD) classique, par lequel un traitement de diffusion ultra-haute définition (UHD) est impossible, par connexion du boîtier décodeur à un téléviseur UHD, et affichage d'une image d'écran de menu translucide. Le procédé selon la présente invention comprend : une étape de réception d'image consistant à recevoir une image d'affichage à l'écran (OSD) et des informations de transparence provenant d'un boîtier décodeur HD par l'intermédiaire d'une première interface HDMI, et à recevoir une image de télévision (TV) d'une résolution UHD par l'intermédiaire d'une interface Ethernet; une étape d'application de transparence consistant à capturer l'image OSD de façon à générer une image d'écran de capture, et à générer une image d'écran d'incrustation couleur dans laquelle les informations de transparence ont été appliquées à l'image d'écran de capture; une étape de combinaison de menu consistant à combiner l'image d'écran d'incrustation couleur avec l'image TV; et une étape de sortie consistant à délivrer l'image combinée au téléviseur UHD par l'intermédiaire d'une seconde interface HDMI.

UHD 방송 처리가 불가능한 기존의 HD급 또는 Full HD급의 셋톱박스를 UHD TV에 연결하여 사용할 수 있도록 하면서도 반투명한 메뉴 화면을 표시할 수 있도록 하는 방법이 제공된다. 본 발명의 방법은, HD 셋톱박스로부터 제1 HDMI 인터페이스를 통해 OSD 영상과 투명도 정보를 수신하고, 이더넷 인터페이스를 통해 UHD 해상도의 TV 영상을 수신하는 영상수신단계와, 상기 OSD 영상을 캡처하여 캡처화면을 생성하고, 상기 캡처화면에 상기 투명도 정보를 적용한 컬러키 화면을 생성하는 투명도 적용단계와, 상기 TV 영상에 상기 컬러키 화면을 합성하는 메뉴합성단계와, 합성된 영상을 제2 HDMI 인터페이스를 통해 UHD TV로 출력하는 출력단계를 구비한다.
