Abstract:
This gearing has one transmission member having a first axis as the center axis, and another transmission member that can revolve around the first axis while rotating around a second axis, which is offset from the first axis. A transmission mechanism between both transmission members comprises: one transmission groove that has an annular wave shape, that is provided to the one transmission member, and that is centered around the first axis; another transmission groove that has an annular wave shape, that is provided to the other transmission member, and that is centered around the second axis; and a plurality of rolling elements that are interposed in a plurality of intersecting sections of both transmission grooves. Both side surfaces of a retainer (H1) are formed at a plate thickness that enables the retainer (H1) to rotate slidably with respect to both transmission members (5, 8), and oil reservoir recesses (61, 62) are provided to one facing surface among the mutually facing surfaces of the transmission members (5, 8) and the retainer (H1), said oil reservoir recesses (61, 62) being capable of holding lubricating oil between the one facing surface and the other facing surface. According to this configuration, it is possible to reduce the load resistance of the retainer and increase transmission efficiency by effectively carrying out lubrication between the transmission members and the retainer, which holds the rolling elements.
