Title: DISPERSION DIAMETER ADJUSTMENT METHOD AND THERMOPLASTIC RESIN COMPOSITION
Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a dispersion diameter adjustment method whereby the dispersion diameter of dispersed phases in a thermoplastic resin composition having a multi-phase structure can be controlled as required using a non-physical approach; and a thermoplastic resin composition that can be obtained by using this dispersion diameter adjustment method. This method adjusts the dispersion diameter of dispersed phases in a thermoplastic resin composition having blended therein a polyolefin resin, a polyamide resin, and a compatibilizer, said polyolefin resin forming a continuous phase and said polyamide resin forming dispersed phases that are dispersed in the continuous phase. A polymer having a reactive group that is reactive to the polyamide resin is used as a compatibilizer, the blended amount of polymer relative to the total amount of polyolefin resin and polyamide resin is changed, and the dispersion diameter of the dispersed phases is adjusted. This composition has 50-450 dispersed phases per 10 µm2.
