Abstract:
Provided is a fuel injection device capable of ensuring strength for withstanding a high fuel pressure. In this fuel injection device a fuel boundary is configured by means of two or more components, two of the components are press-fitted with respect to an inner diameter and an outer diameter and contact each other at abutting surfaces, and butt welding is carried out from a direction substantially parallel to these abutting surfaces. The inner-diameter-side corner part of the abutting surface of the component which is engaged and press-fitted on the inner-diameter side is chamfered so as to be long in the direction orthogonal to the abutting surface, the weld connection length is made longer than the abutting length, the weld connection length is less than the weld depth, the weld penetration depth is greater than or equal to the material thickness, and the center of the weld is closer to the parent material, the outer diameter of which is greater than the welded surface.
