Abstract:
The present invention is capable of compensating the influence of thermal elongation and highly accurately measuring a clearance by using an optical sensor, which is equipped with an illuminating optical fiber (12), a first light receiving optical fiber (13), a second light receiving optical fiber (14), and a measuring unit (5), and which is provided such that an intersection between reflected light to be inputted to the first light receiving optical fiber (13), and reflected light to be inputted to the second light receiving optical fiber (14) is positioned on a leading end surface (11a) of a sensor head (11) or further toward the peripheral surface side of a movable body (rotating body (103)) than the leading end surface (11a) of the sensor head (11).
