Abstract:
(EN) A system (40), communication device (31), and method for scheduling transmissions from the communication device. The device predicts (11, 22) an arrival time of a next packet for transmission when a current packet arrives in a transmission buffer. The device plans (12, 23) a future transmission time of the next packet based on the predicted arrival time of the next packet, and books (13, 24) transmission resources for the planned future transmission time. If the next packet has arrived before the planned future transmission time, the device transmits (26) the next packet. If the next packet has not arrived before the planned future transmission time, the device re-plans (30) the future transmission time of the next packet. The device may unbook (28) the transmission resources for the planned future transmission time, book (24) transmission resources for the re-planned future transmission time, and notify (29) other communication devices that the unbooked transmission resources are available for use by the other communication devices.
(FR) L'invention concerne un système (40), un dispositif de communication (31) et un procédé pour programmer des transmissions à partir du dispositif de communication. Le dispositif prédit (11, 22) un temps d'arrivée d'un paquet suivant pour une transmission lorsqu'un paquet courant arrive dans un tampon de transmission. Le dispositif planifie (12, 23) un temps de transmission futur du paquet suivant sur la base du temps d'arrivée prédit du paquet suivant, et réserve (13, 24) des ressources de transmission pour le temps de transmission futur planifié.
