Abstract:
(EN) The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for applying noise reducing elements to tyres for vehicle wheels. Noise reducing elements (12), all equal to each other, are fed in succession on a conveyor (20) according to a predetermined path and are oriented on the predetermined path all in the same way. Tyres (2) of different sizes (C, P) are fed in succession on a conveyor (20) up to an application station (34). In the application station (34), the noise reducing elements (12) are picked up from the conveyor (20) and applied to radially inner surfaces of the tyres (2). The application comprises: arranging the noise reducing elements (12) with the larger dimension (L) directed in a circumferential direction or arranging the noise reducing elements (12) with the larger dimension (L) directed in an axial direction as a function of the sizes (C, P) of the tyre (2) in which they are applied.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un procédé et un appareil permettant l'application d'éléments réducteurs de bruit sur des pneus de roues de véhicule. Des éléments réducteurs de bruit (12), tous identiques les uns aux autres, sont acheminés successivement sur un transporteur (20) selon un trajet prédéfini et sont orientés sur le trajet prédéfini de la même manière. Des pneus (2) de différentes tailles (C, P) sont acheminés successivement sur un transporteur (20) jusqu'à un poste d'application (34). Dans le poste d'application (34), les éléments réducteurs de bruit (12) sont collectés à partir du transporteur (20) et appliqués sur des surfaces radialement internes des pneus (2). L'application comprend : l'agencement des éléments réducteurs de bruit (12), la plus grande dimension (L) étant dirigée dans une direction circonférentielle, ou l'agencement des éléments réducteurs de bruit (12), la plus grande dimension (L) étant dirigée dans une direction axiale en fonction des tailles (C, P) du pneu (2) dans lequel ils sont appliqués.
