(EN)The present invention relates to new biomimetic mineralized apatite structures. The present invention also relates to processes for the production of new biomimetic mineralized apatite structures based on natural and synthetic protein scaffolds. In particular, the invention provides synthetic crystal having a hierarchical structure formed on an elastin-like polypeptide membrane or hydrogel. The invention also provides methods of making such crystals, both in vivo and in vitro, as well as kits comprising membranes or hydrogels with cross-linking agents and/or mineralization solutions. The invention also provides the use of such structures in methods of treatment.
(FR)La présente invention concerne de nouvelles structures biomimétiques d'apatite minéralisées. La présente invention concerne également des procédés de production de nouvelles structures biomimétiques d'apatite minéralisée à base d'échafaudages protéiques naturels et synthétiques. En particulier, l'invention concerne un cristal synthétique ayant une structure hiérarchique formée sur une membrane ou un hydrogel de polypeptide de type élastine. L'invention concerne également des procédés de fabrication de ces cristaux, à la fois in vivo et in vitro, ainsi que des kits comprenant des membranes ou des hydrogels avec des agents de réticulation et/ou des solutions de minéralisation. L'invention concerne également l'utilisation de ces structures dans des procédés de traitement.
