Abstract:
(EN) An apparatus (100) for controlling flow of a material includes an inlet (110) for receiving the material from a source, and a seal mechanism (120) connected to the inlet, the seal mechanism having a fluidizing bed (152) configured to receive the material from the inlet, a first discharge passageway (122) and a second discharge passageway (124). The fluidizing bed includes a first transport zone (162) associated with the first discharge passageway and a second transport zone (160) associated with the second discharge passageway, wherein the first and second transport zones are configured to receive transport gas from a transport gas source (158). The transport gas is controllable to selectively divert a flow of the material into the first discharge passageway and the second discharge passageway.
(FR) L'invention concerne un appareil (100) destiné à commander l'écoulement d'un matériau, l'appareil comprenant une entrée (110) destinée à recevoir le matériau en provenance d'une source, et un mécanisme d'étanchéité (120) relié à l'entrée, le mécanisme d'étanchéité comportant un lit fluidisé (152) conçu pour recevoir le matériau en provenance de l'entrée, un premier passage d'évacuation (122) et un second passage d'évacuation (124). Le lit fluidisé comprend une première zone de transport (162) associée au premier passage d'évacuation et une seconde zone de transport (160) associé au second passage d'évacuation, les première et seconde zones de transport étant conçues pour recevoir un gaz de transport en provenance d'une source de gaz de transport (158). Le gaz de transport peut être commandé de manière à dévier sélectivement un écoulement du matériau vers le premier passage d'évacuation et vers le second passage d'évacuation.
